A warm welcome to my little corner on the internet. It’s been a long time in the making and the day has finally come: the blog is online!

I have a lot of fun series and projects in store for you. I can hardly wait to share. Before I tell you more about the creation of this blog, I would like to remind you that: there are already two other blog posts published. Go check them out if you haven’t already. It would mean the world to me!

We meet again

I am not new to the blogging world. I have had a blog in the past. Even though I already had a corner on the internet that I could return to, I decided to start afresh. New blog, new style and new content. Although some of the series of my old blog will reappear such as: The Happy Helpdesk, I feel like I have this blank canvas to fill in. That feeling makes my heart skip a beat. The feeling of creating something new from scratch and the freedom that comes with it.

This blog is a passion project. A place where I can let my creativity flow, where I am able to decide what I want to do. I have always had the urge (over)share, to tell stories, to create. Blogging allows me to channel these urges every single day. It makes me feel alive. I picked the name Anne Colette not only for the simple reason that it is my name but also because this a personal project. A dream of mine so it only felt right to give my name to it. I see the blog as an extension of who I am.

Bear with me

I might have some experience in this domain but I still have a lot to learn and to figure out. Like everything else in life there will be mistakes made. Probably in language, picture taking and so many more parts of this blog journey. I hope you just bear with me as I embark on this new journey.

But … blogs are dead?

Well I have heard this one a lot. I know that people in general don’t always take time to read somewhat long content like blogs. We all gravitate towards video, it’s fast and fun. That being said, in my opinion blogs are still very much alive and have always been. Blogs are hidden gems with stories that need to be told or shared by someone.

Ready, set, go!

When will I post? Since I like to be organised, I chose to have a fixed schedule. I will do my very best to post two times a week on Wednesday and Friday. If I am full of inspiration you will even get a post on Sunday. I will be very active on social media so go give @annecolette4 a follow on Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest & Twitter.
